An important milestone achieved by the Board this last week. After considerable amount of time and effort the ACNC application has been submitted. The Foundation is requesting registration as an Environmental Organisation with Charity status within Australia. Once that process is completed the ACNC will forward our application to the Australian Taxation Office so we can obtain Deductible Gift Recipient status (DGR). Becoming a registered charity is important step in obtaining funding from both public and private sources.  This process will take several months by the ACNC to commence so watch this space!
